Lions and Dragons

Parables hide meaning from those whose pride and arrogance renders them deaf and blind. The nature of a Parable is to "place one thing by the side of another; to compare with another in likeness, similitude." Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is the Lion of Judah. What does this mean to you? Satan is described as a roaring lion prowling around looking for someone to devour (1Peter5:8). It seems to me a mockery that changing garments would make you what you are clearly not on the inside. We fool ourselves more often than we fool those around us. What damage is caused in the fooling I wonder?

On a happier note, I can tell you that I am loving much better since you have entered my life. Thank you.
